Happy Tuesday. 🥶 Maple Leaf Reservoir is a hidden gem. Surely saved my sanity during quarantine. I’d walk loops around the park. You get a great view of the city and Mt. Rainier in one corner, and spacious fields for all kinds of sports in another. After awhile, I started to recognize the same faces, same dogs (most importantly) on my loops. One of the things I miss about North Seattle.

A pretty park by a pretty lake. It’s nice to coast around. Earlier this summer, was on the water when a lonely goose kept following the boat … even flew after it. Maybe he prefers hanging out with Homo sapiens.

Did you know the Fremont Troll is a millennial? He’s 34 years old, born in 1990. He was sculpted by four artists, Steve Badanes, Will Martin, Donna Walter, and Ross Whitehead based after Nordic folklore.
