Gasworks Park Sticker
Once the site of the Seattle Gas Light Company’s coal gasification plant, it was transformed into a public park in 1975 by visionary landscape architect Richard Haag. Rather than demolishing the plant, Haag preserved its industrial structures as a nod to Seattle’s industrial heritage. Now, you'll find find kite fliers, picnicers and unleashed dogs.
